In comic news:
So there isn't much to announce right now. I've been a little dry creatively with the comic pages, I know, same old story.
But I have been creating just various pin-up type pages of no one in particular, until I get my butt in gear with the comic pages. I just need to buckle down and work, I will work on the schedule tonight.
Geek Girl Comics News:
I'm looking to start a comic artist group in my area, so if you live in Portland, OR and you are interested in meeting other comic artist weather they are new/pro/hobbyist, then contact me. I have already created a thread for it in the forums.
Also, if you are a new comic artist and you are interested in having your web comic be under Geek Girl Comics and get light publicity then contact me at geekgirlcomics@gmail.com and we will talk.
The revamped, re-touched, made better Geek Girl Comics logo was the work of Karina of PinUp Artist Karina Dale, she is a wonderful artist, you must check her work out.
Personal:
Another reason I haven't been getting much done is that I have been having a lot of summer activities like camping and bar-b-q-ing, and seeing movies like: Batman - The Dark Night, X-Files, Hellboy 2, and much more. So all this time I should have spent working on my business, I've been sleeping in and playing, and just casually drawing here and there... bad, BAD me! Ok, I will get serious from now on and work more with this site and comic.
Other Creative News:
I've just notice the wonderful world of Zines. I mean I've always known about them, but I never really payed attention. Now I see and I can also see the possibilities of combining these zines and my comic and advertise my websites all in one... wow, nice. So maybe there will be a zine page added to the site in the near future with option of buying zines. Hhmmm... maybe.
